Common sense is not a gift but a punishment because you have to fight day by day with those who do not have it.

Starting from this hypothesis, I would like to introduce you an article about the meaning of common sense in today’s society.
Thus, undoubtedly, it represents the most presentable visiting card of a person.
But how many of us are aware of this?
Too few, in a society where the logical norm of common sense is increasingly rare.
What does common sense mean?
It involves altruism and compassion.
That is why it is the most limited of all natural resources.
When you do not have it, you make someone suffer, you offend him, you bother him, you create him a state of discomfort.
Throughout its evolution, human society has established a series of rules, absolutely necessary for a good coexistence between its members. These rules are modified and adapted periodically according to the state of evolution of the society. Besides, it might be defined as the attitude to respect the rules of cohabitation.
It asks us that in any situation to behave with respect, towards ourselves, towards all others, towards everything that means life.
Common sense is a measure of good growth, of respect for others.
We tend to complicate so much the simple things, that we manage to make them lose their meaning.
We can say that a person has the common sense, through a huge enumeration of words, but not this is the idea.
The idea is that the latter is an etalon of values.
Therefore, in a society lacking most of the times of common sense, let’s be an example. An example worthy to be followed by those with which we interact.
“Common sense is something that everyone needs, few have, and none think they lack.”
Benjamin Franklin
